Maths

This week we are continuing to look at multiplication and division but this time it is in our new maths booklets.  We are currently following the White Rose Hub units.  All the answers and videos are linked below.

Maths Extension

Today I would like you to have a go at the attached year 3 multiplication and division booklet.  It is a long book so you can dip in and out of it.  It should last you a few weeks.

You can also go onto MathShed and practice your times-tables and their inverse.

Literacy

Today I would like you to have a go at our weekly reading comprehension.  The text is linked below as is the questions relating to it.  Try to use your best handwriting!

Extension - I would like you to come up with some more exciting adjectives ( and some verbs)!  Big, nice, said and little are boring words, I would like you to come up with 5 - 10 better words for each that we could use instead.

Reading

I would like you to spend some time every day reading your reading book or any book you are enjoying.  It is great to read to others but it is also good to do some independent reading!  Maybe you could send in some book reviews that we could share on our webpage!

REMEMBER, we now have a great website called GetEpic!  It would be wonderful to see you using that as well!

Read Write Inc

In Read Write Inc we are continuing looking at our new unit, this is unit 7 focussing on words with the c sound spelt ch, it is on page 28-31.  But today I would like you to just work on page 28 and complete the Spelling Zone activity.  Try not to skip ahead to other activities as it is important to do a little bit every day.  Tomorrow we shall be looking at dots and dashes and word changers.

PE

In PE this week we are continuing to look at different types of games.  Go onto the 'Get Active' page and have a go at some of the activities.  GoNOODLE and Cosmic Kids are some of my favourites!

Well-being

Today for our wellbeing challenge, we are going to look at why we are an amazing person!  Every single one of us is a wonderful and unique person.  So, I would like you to fill in the rainbow drawn below about yourself.  Remember to make it as colourful and bright as possible.  I look forward to seeing them!
