This week we will be looking back at some of the work you did in year 5 with written methods for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division before we move on to look at some more advanced maths.
Today we will be going back over written addition. Watch the video below and then complete the worksheet.
We are continuing to look at addition and written methods today. Complete the first document by using the writtne column method for each of the additions - you can write them up on a piece of paper. Watch the questions with decimal points in as it is very important that you line your columns up carefully - you can always label the columns Th,H, T, U. th, h if that helps you at all.
The second sheet is if you finish the first quickly - it is a missing number sheet where you have to work out what the missing numbers are in each of the gaps.
