Parent Partnership
Parents are always welcome in school. A home/school agreement has been formulated in order to reinforce the partnership for learning between home and school. We hope that all parents will sign this agreement when a child is admitted to the school.
Parents' Evenings
Each year in the autumn and spring terms we give parents opportunities to discuss the progress of their child with the class teacher. All parents are invited to attend these interviews and the children are invited to the interviews held in the spring term.
Towards the end of the summer term parents receive a comprehensive report explaining their child's progress and how they have developed through the year. We offer parents the opportunities to discuss these reports with the teacher if the parents feel there is a need.
Parent Helpers
School life is enriched by parental help. Parents can help in numerous ways: hearing children read, general help in the classroom, helping with specific activities like cooking, swimming, needlecraft, transporting children on outings, supporting children in the computer suite etc.
Informal Parent-Teacher Discussion
Parents do not have to wait until open evening to discuss their child's progress. The teaching staff will contact the parents if they have concerns about any child in their class and parents who wish to discuss their child's progress may make an appointment with the relevant teacher.
Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
We have a very active PTA here at school. For more information click here.
