Numeracy
This term we will begin by looking at our place value for numbers up to 100 and how we can count up and back in multiples of 10. We will then move on to looking at the four calculations - addition, subtraction and then onto multiplication and division closer to Christmas.
The children will have their logins to Maths Shed in their Reading Diaries and we will set some tasks to complete on there for Home Learning. There are also lots of games on there that the children may like to play to keep practising their mental maths.
It is important for the children to keep working on their mental maths both at home and in school to make sure they are quick and using effective methods to solve maths problems.
